인상파, 찬란한 순간들: 모네, 르누아르, 반 고흐 그리고 세잔 Masters of Impressionism: MONET, RENOIR, VAN GOGH and CÉZANNE

《인상파, 찬란한 순간들: 모네, 르누아르, 반 고흐 그리고 세잔》은 세계적 명작을 직접 만나볼 수 있는 기회로, 인상주의의 대표적인 작품들을 선보인다. 인상주의는 자연 속 찰나의 순간을 포착하고자 했던 예술 사조 중 하나로, 이번 전시는 이를 세 가지 주제인 ‘수면 풍경과 반영’, ‘도시 풍경, 자연, 인물이 있는 전경’, ‘인물과 정물’ 총 세 가지 주제로 나누어 구성했다. 1870년대 프랑스에서 예술가들은 찬란의 색과 공기, 그리고 물 위에 반사된 빛 속에서 눈앞의 현실보다 더 본질적인 ‘빛의 인상’을 포착하려 했다. 그들은 정확한 형태 재현보다, 눈으로 본 순간의 감정과 색의 떨림을 화폭에 담고자 했다. 이것이 바로 인상주의의 시작이었다. 이번 전시는 예루살렘 이스라엘 박물관 소장품 중 모네, 르누아르, 고갱, 고흐, 세잔 등 11인의 인상주의 작가들의 작품을 원화로 감상할 수 있다. “빛으로 세상을 보는 화가들의 시선”을 노원아트뮤지엄에서 직접 마주하는 특별한 여정이 될 것이다.

《Masters of Impressionism》 offers an opportunity to directly encounter world-renowned masterpieces, showcasing representative works of Impressionism. Impressionism is one of the art movements that sought to capture the fleeting moments in nature, and this exhibition is organized into three distinct themes: “Waterscapes and Reflections,” “Cityscapes, Nature and Figural Landscapes,” and “People and Still Life.“ In 1870s France, artists sought to capture the more fundamental “impression of light” within brilliant colors, the atmosphere, and light reflected on water, an essence beyond the reality visible before their eyes. They aimed to convey the emotion and vibration of color perceived in that moment, rather than the precise reproduction of form. This exhibition features original works by 11 Impressionist artists, including MONET, RENOIR, GAUGUIN, VAN GOGH, and CÉZANNE, from the collection of The Israel Museum, Jerusalem. It will be a special journey to directly encounter “the gaze of the painters who saw the world through light” at the Nowon Art Museum.
