철이철철-사천왕상에서 로보트 태권V까지 Cheori Cheolcheol-from the Four Devas to Robot Taekwon V

포스코미술관이 개관 20주년을 맞아 새로운 공간으로 이전하여 ‘ 철이철철 - 사천왕상에서 로보트 태권브이까지’ 전시를 연다. ‘철이철철’은 포스코 소장품 중 백남준 作 <TV나무, TV깔대기>의 부제로 “철 만드는 회사이니 철이 철철 넘쳐나라”며 포스코의 무궁발전을 기원한 작가의 위트어린 메시지다. 이번 전시는 종교적 수호신인 사천왕상부터 추억의 만화영화 로보트 태권브이까지 세상을 지켜온 철을 한 자리에서 조망할 수 있는 전시이다.‘세상을 지키는 철’을 시작으로 1부 : ‘철, 역사가 되다’ (고려 시대 철조 및 금속 유물), 2부 : ‘철, 예술이 되다’ (김병호, 김종구, 김택기, 박승모, 백남준, 송영수, 이재효, 정현, 최우람, 한영욱, 한은주), 3부 : ‘철, 생활이 되다’ (김경환, 류연희, 박보미, 심진아, 이상민, 정용진)등 총 4개 파트로 구성, 고려시대 철조 및 금속 유물 20여 점과 현대작품 50여 점이 출품된다.

POSCO Art Museum is showing ‘Cheori Cheolcheol - from the Four Devas to Robot Taekwon V’ exhibition. The exhibition is held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening by moved into a newspace. “Cheori Cheolcheol” is the subtitle of <TV Chandelier, TV Tree> by Nam June Paik, one of the collections of POSCO. The subtitle means“POSCO is a company which makes steel so full to overflowing with steels to achieve success for the company”. The exhibition consists of four parts Intro : Steel, maintain the world Part 1 : Steel, pass into History (Koryo Dynasty metal artifacts) Part 2 : Steel, into Art (Byoungho Kim, Jongku Kim, Taekgi Kim, Seungmo Park, Nam June Paik, Youngsu Song, Jaehyo Lee,Chung Hyun, Wooram Choi, YoungWook Han, Eunjoo Han) Part 3 : Steel, into Life (Kyunghwan Kim, Yeunhee Ryu, Bomi park, Jina Sim, Sangmin Lee, Yongjin Chung)
