제14회를 맞는 동강국제사진제는 7월 24일을 개막하여 10월4일까지 전시된다. 올해 예술감독에 선임된 신수진 교수의 참신한 기획이 돋보이는 주제전과 국제공모전은 ‘우연의 교잡합’, ‘인생은 아름다워’ 주제하에, 세계전역의 다양한 사진문화와 현대사진의 진수를 선보이는 수준높은 전시가 될 것으로 기대한다. 또한 국내최고의 권위와 역사를 자랑하는 올해의 동강사진상은 역대 수상자들에 의해 추천된 수상자후보군을 선정한 후, 심사위원의 엄정한 심사를 거쳐 최종 결정했다. 이번 14회 수상자로 선정된 백제대 정주하 교수의 동강사진상 수상자전도 개최된다. 전시는 동강사진상 수상자, 주제전, 국제공모전, 강원도 사진가전, 거리설치전, 보도사

It’s 14th DongGang International photography festival will start from July 24th and October 4th. Main Exhibition and International Open Call exhibition, titled, ‘Life is Beautiful’, and ‘The Crossroad of Chance : Time, Place and People’, particularly highlights curatorial career of professor Suejin Shin, who was appointed as the Artistic director, and are highly expected exhibitions that will exemplify the essence of the entire world’s various photography events as well as the essence of contemporary art fairs. Moreover, it has taken the big part in the process of recommending and selecting the nominees for this year’s DongGang Photography Award an award that represents the nation’s best authority and history. The judges made their final decisions through meticulous and impartial evaluation process. The DongGang Photography Award Exhibition will also be held which will feature the works of this year’s winner, CHUNG Chuha who is a professor at Paekche Institute of the Arts. 12 exhibitions will be shown DongGang Photography Award Exhibition, Main Exhibition, DongGang Open Call Exhibition, Gangwon Province Photographers Exhibition, Street Installation Exhibition, Photojournalists Exhibition, Yeongwol Country Photographers exhibition, Continuing Education Exhibition, Portfolio Review Award Exhibition, Elementary School Diary Exhibition, Yeongwol Photo Tour Program, DongGang Photo Workshop 2015.
