한국-러시아 수교 25주년 기념-실재와 가상의 틈 : 한국 러시아 미디어 아트의 오늘 Celebrating the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and Republic of Korea-REAL in IRREAL : Russia- Korea Media Art T

우양미술관은 한-러 수교 25주년을 기념하여 ‘실재와 가상의 틈 : 한국 러시아 미디어 아트의 오늘’전을 개최한다. 한국과 러시아의 지역성을 기반으로, 실재(Real)와 가상(Irreal) 이미지의 틈에서 발생하는 ‘의미’와 ‘예술적 효과’들에 관한 탐구정신이 돋보이는 한국과 러시아 작가 12인 전시이다. 사진, 영상, 영화, 설치 등 미디어 매체가 표상하는 기존의 기능적 또는 내용적인 틀을 새롭게 보는 과정에서 의문이 드는 지점들이작가들의 개성적인 조형언어로 채택되었다. 본 전시는 크게 두 공간으로 구성되었다. 전반부는 사진과 영상 속에서 연극적 설정 요소가 감지된다. 유현미 작가의 설치작업을 시작으로 라우프 마메도프, 알렉산드라 미틀랸스카야, 천경우, 박준범 작업으로 구성되었다. 후반부로 구성된 다음 전시실에는 실제 장면을 그대로 담아내되 우리가 미처 발견해내지 못한 실재와 가상의 틈에서 발견되는 색다른 서정성을 담고 있는 작업들 위주로 구성되었다. 부부작가 뮌의 작품으로 시작하여, 한성필, 블라드미르 마르티노브, 레오니드 티쉬코프, 이명호, 막심 홀로딜렌의 작가의 작품을 감상할 수 있다.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between Korea and Russia, the Wooyang Museum of Contemporary Art will hold an exhibition titled Real in Irreal: Russia-Korea Media Art Today, featuring works by twelve Korean and Russian artists who delve into the “Meaning” and “Artistic Effect” created between “Real” and “Irreal” images. These artists take fresh perspectives on the functional, concrete elements presented by various media, including photography, film, digital media, and installation art, and use unique artistic means to highlight the areas that spark their curiosity. This exhibition is held mainly in two spaces. Viewers are exposed first to theatrical elements through photos and digital images displayed as part of installation artworks by Hyun Mi YOO , Rauf MAMEDOV, Alexandra MITLYANSKAYA, Kyungwoo CHUN, Junebum PARK . They then encounter works that capture the unique lyricism discovered in the gap between reality and virtual reality, which we have so far largely ignored, by the artist couple Mioon, Sungpil HAN, Vladimir MARTYNOV, Leonid TISHKOV, Myoung-Ho LEE, and Maxim KHOLODILIN.
