서울-파리-서울 : 프랑스에 한국화가 Seoul-Paris-Seoul : Korean artists in France

한국·프랑스 수교 130주년을 맞이하며 동아시아예술품 전문미술관인 세르누치박물관에서 ‘서울-파리-서울’전이 2016년 2월 7일까지 열리고 있다. 서구 현대미술을 공부하기 위해 파리로 건너와 체류했거나 현재까지 머물며 작업 중인 작고 원로 중진 작가 22명의 56점이 전시되어 있다.

배운성, 백영수, 이성자, 김환기, 박서보, 김기린, 윤형근, 이진우, 윤희, 채성필, 이응노, 박인경, 김창열, 남관, 원수열, 심경자, 방혜자, 이배, 문신,정상화, 한묵, 홍인숙 등 한국과 프랑스 양국의 예술 문화를 몸으로 체득하고 흡수한 화가들의 작품이다. 전시는 4개의 주제로 한국 근현대미술의 출현, 에콜드파리의 경험, 신세대 작가들, 한국적 정체성으로 나누어 구성되었다. 한국 1950년대 추상미술에서 시대의 흐름에 따라 마지막으로 한국적 재료와 정신을 대표하는 한지와 먹, 서예 등에 근간을 둔 작업까지 폭넓게 보여주고 있다.

In celebration of the 130th diplomatic relationship between Korean and France the Musee Cernuschi, which has a sumptuous collection of east Asian art, holds Seoul-Paris-Seoul’ exhibition until Feb. 7th 2016.

On view are 56 works of 22 Korean artists who had stayed or are staying in France for their study of western art. The exhibition is consist of 4 themes: the birth of modern Korean art, experience of Ecole de Paris, new generation artists, and the national identity of Korea. On the list are PAI Unsung, PAEK Youngsu, RHEE Seundja, KIM Whanki, PARK Seobo, KIM Guiline, YUN Hyongkeun, LEE Jinwoo, YOON Hee, CHAE Sungpil, LEE Ungno, PARK Inkyung, KIM Tschangyeul, NAM Kwan, WON Souyeol, SHIM Kyungja, BANG Haija, LEE Bae, MOON Shin, CHUNG Sanghwa, HAN Mook, HONG Insook Insuk who experienced the artistic culture of both Korea and France. Wide range of works from Korean abstract art in 1950’s to the various present arts which are based on the spirit of calligraphy in such traditional materials as Korean paper Hanji and Korean ink are on view.
