호랑이와 늑대 : 2015 밀라노엑스포 기념 한·이 현대조각전 The WOLF AND THE TIGER : Scultura italiana e coreana

밀라노 페르마넨테 주립미술관이 2015 밀라노엑스포를 기념하여 ‘ 호랑이와 늑대 : 2015 밀라노엑스포 기념 한·이 현대조각전’을 개최한다. 호랑이와 늑대를 통해 한국과 이탈리아의 우정을 상징적으로 표현한 이번 전시는 최근 100년 간 양국 조각의 흐름을 조명하는 역사적 의미로 꾸며진다.

이번 전시에 출품하는 이탈리아 주요 작가는 이탈리아 현대조각의 선구자인 마리노 마리니(Marino Marini, 1901-80), 루치오 폰타나(Lucio Fontana, 1899-1968), 아르놀드 포모도로(Arnold Pomodoro, 1926- )를 비롯하여 이탈리아 현대조각의 흐름을 바꾼 24명의 작가로 구성하였다.

한국측 작가는 백남준(1932-2006), 권진규(1922-73)을 비롯하여 이우환, 박석원, 심문섭, 김영원, 박헌열, 한진섭, 이용덕, 강애란, 박선기, 강애란, 박승모, 이환권 등 40대부터 70대까지의 연령층과 장르별 다양한 작가로 구성하였다.

Museum Permanente Di Milano will be holding an exhibition celebrating the 2015 Milano Expo called ‘The Wolf and the Tiger : Sculturaitaliana e coreana’This exhibition symbolically represents a friendship of Korea and Italy through the Tiger and Wolf. It has a historical significance highlighting the flows of sculpture in both countries in the past 100 years.

The main artists in Italy featuring in this exhibition are Arturo Martini (1889-1947), Marino Marini(1901-80), Fontana Lucio(1899-1968), Arnaldo Pomodoro(1926- ) and Maximo Pellegrinetti who are the pioneers of Modern Sculpture in Italy, also the exhibition is composed by the historical artists from 24 representative artists who changed the Italian Modern sculpture, and Maximo Pellegrinetti who is an artist and director of Italy at the same time. The main artists from Korea are composed of various artists and also the exhibition provides a variety range of artistic preference and age range from the 40s to 70s. Nam-June Paik(1932-2006) who is creator of video art, Jin-Kyu Kwon(1922-73) a pioneer in the field of contemporary art, Lee U Fan who held the blockbuster exhibition in the palace of Versailles, Suk-Won Park, Moon-Seup Shim, Young-Won Kim(head of operation), Jin-Sub Han who has studied in Italy, Heon-Youl park, Seon-Ghi Bahk and Yong-Deok Lee, Airan Kang, Seung-Mo Park, Hwan-Kwon Yi, etc.
