백제의 향기-부여의 꿈
고도 부여는 부여뿐 아니라 도시를 둘러싼 일대가 중요한 문화유산이며, 한반도 역사상 가장 찬란한 고대 문화를 꽃피웠던 시기로 도시 전체가 고귀한 역사 문화이다.
‘백제의 향기-부여의 꿈’전은 당대의 작가들과 함께 역사도시 부여를 새로운 예술적 시각으로 재조명해 예술작품으로 기록 보존하는 데에 의미가 있으며 작품 제작은 전통적 개념의 충실한 현장 사생과 실경을 바탕으로 한 회화 작품과, 백제의 옛 수도 사비성의 찬란했던 문화를 재해석한 현대적 조각 작품, 또한 부여의 오늘의 모습을 작가의 예술성을 최대한 발휘한 작품과 백제의 꿈을 형상화한 현대적 작품들로 제작 되었다.
이번 전시는 우리 현대작가들의 예술작품으로 백제 고도 부여의 예술적 자긍심을 표현하며, 전시를 통해 고도 부여의 이미지를 한층 신비롭고 예술적 깊이가 담긴 도시로 인식되도록 꾸며졌다. 전시를 관람하는 이들은 오늘날의 지리적 도시 ‘부여’가 아닌 역사문화도시 ‘부여’의 예술적 향기를 깊이 느낄 것이다.
The scent of Baekje-The dream of Buyeo
The old city Buyeo, not only itself but also the surroundings are significant cultural heritage, is a peak of the brilliant ancient culture and a valuable historical culture as well.
The exhibition ‘The scent of Baekje-The dream of Buyeo’ has a meaning at a view point of keeping historical city Buyeo as works of art with its life time artists through re-illuminating with a new artistic vision. The exhibition is composed with paintings based on real landscape and traditional scene drawings, and modern sculptures re-interpreting the luxurious culture of Castle Sabi-the capital of Buyeo, and works which describe Buyoe today, the spirit of artists at its maximum and formalizing the dream of Baekje as well.
We want to express the artistic pride of Buyeo, the old city of Baekje, with our modern artists’ works and we also want for Buyeo to be imaged as a mysterious and artistic city through this exhibition. We hope the visitors would feel the scent of Buyeo not as a today’s geographical city but as a historical and cultural city.
